Written in plain words on purpose. Using this site or publishing on it means you agree to what's on this page.
The short version
- Publish only work that is yours, or that you have real permission to share.
- Everything stays free. No selling mods, no paywalls, ever.
- Stolen work comes down first; it goes back up on evidence.
- Anything Riot Games wants removed comes down on request.
- Malware ends an account immediately.
What this site is
Flux is a free, fan-made tool for custom League of Legends skins, and this site is its catalog: creators upload skins, everyone downloads them. Skins are visible only to the person wearing them - other players always see the default game. The site and the app are run by an individual fan, not a company, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
Your account
You sign in with Discord. You are responsible for what your account publishes and says. Accounts are for people, not bots. The people who review this site's uploads can send work back with a note, take it down, or close an account that breaks these rules.
Publishing
By publishing here you confirm the work is yours (or you have the maker's permission, and you say so on the page), and you give this site permission to host it, show it, and hand it to people who press Download. You keep every right you had - publishing here signs nothing away.
Nothing goes public until it has been looked at. A new version of an already-published skin goes live at once, but every rule on this page still applies to it, and it can come down just as fast.
Never publish: work you did not make and have no permission for; files that do anything besides change how League looks for you; anything that tries to give a player an unfair advantage; anything hateful; a description that lies about what the file is.
Stolen work and disputes
Ownership disputes are taken seriously and resolved simply: takedown first, restore on evidence. If someone claims a published skin is theirs, it comes down while the claim is looked at, and it goes back up if the publisher shows it is really theirs. This is deliberately unfair to thieves rather than to makers.
Every skin page has a Report this skin link, for stolen work or anything on the list below. A person reads every report; nothing comes down by itself. When a skin is taken down, its creator sees why on the skin's edit page and can ask for it back with evidence. A creator is never told who reported them.
Repeat offenders
This is the written policy: a first takedown for publishing someone else's work is a warning. A second closes the account. Publishing malware on purpose closes the account immediately, first time, and everything it published comes down with it. A closed account is not a ban on the person asking to explain - it is a ban on the uploads.
Where Riot's rights begin
League of Legends belongs to Riot Games. Skins here are fan-made content that changes only what you see on your own screen. This site never charges for anything that touches Riot's work, and anything Riot Games asks to have removed comes down on request, no argument. Riot may change what they allow at any time; if that happens, this site follows.
Downloads
Every upload is opened by the server and every file inside it is looked at: programs, scripts, shortcuts and archives hidden inside are refused at the door, whatever they are named. A person reviews every new skin, and the Flux app checks a file's fingerprint before installing it. That is real care, but it is not a guarantee - you download at your own risk, and nobody here owes you compensation if a file or the app misbehaves. The honest promise is that problems get fixed and bad files get removed, fast.
Takedown requests
If you hold rights to something published here and want it removed, write to contact@fluxskins.gg: say which page and what you own, and it comes down on request.
Changes
If these rules change, this page changes, with the date below. Big changes get said out loud, not slipped in.
